All files are sized at 150 dpi.
The first file should produce an image of the eternal hive's entire body, with a "cutaway" to reveal the Gullet. This is helpful if you want to have just a single layer that shows what is under the beetle.
The second should produce just the Gullet, as represented on the current map, but less "whale like." It is my understanding that the the intent is that only the central 15 feet are "navigable" and the outer 5 feet are the "walls" of the gullet, but the existing map was sufficiently ambiguous that I just tried to recreate it as best as I could.
The remaining 5 layers should be able to be reassembled into a GIMP or Photoshop file. This would allow you to insert the battlefields map as the base layer, and then print the map with just the shadow on it, and print separate layers for the top shell and the inside of the bug. This is actually what I am doing, to create a giant, 3D bug to place on the table, with a removable top for the fight inside the gullet.
Make sure your table doesn't have any phobias if you do that though!
Let me know how it works out, or if there are any changes you can recommend.
