Before you run this, check out the actual play podcast Danger Club’s playthrough of the first act. Their GM does this cool flashback. It was brilliant. Basically he started immediately after the bar fight, with the sheriff interviewing the PCs. Then they flash back to the caravan and wolves scene, and play through to the end of the bar fight. Then they pick up after the interview with the sheriff. It was very cinematic, and worked great. Just make sure nobody dies in the first two fights. :)
