I painted minis and used d20s that all matched the two-tone colors of the cards, which were then sleeved in appropriate colored sleeves with dry-erase markers used to mark their "final modifiers" for quick and easy use. They were passed out to players who would have otherwise sat around during the race watching the other players do the dice rolls (of course, the GM chose their targets). I kept the cards face down during the investigative phase, save for Laboni's racer.

After the first time I GM'd this, I noticed players caught onto the DCs after the first round. I figure it'd save more time to just tell the PCs what the default skills and DCs were to improve a junkracer or sabotage. I kept the cards in sleeves and used a dry-erase marker to "tick" each box after each successful upgrade or sabotage, sliding the cards beneath the appropriate pod-racer as we went along. Stealth DC was hidden, and I reminded the players that creative solutions were acceptable.

My VC said I should post these. I love designing sheets and props like this so expect to see more!
